Friends, thank you so much for taking the time to share and promote this petition. Not only have we surpassed 300 signatures (Close to 350 now as I write this!) We have also now surpassed the amount of signatures a competing petition has achieved (The one started by activists, which was asking permission to allow the unhoused at the lake to live there permanently). 

This is huge- we're telling our local politicians that we want our lake to be a park! NOT HOUSING! And to BUILD THE HOUSING WE VOTED ON! 

Luckily there's also another way you can voice your support. On the 27th of February there's going to be a meeting to discuss the unhoused situation at the lake. The activists who have been trying to tell Echo Park residents they have no say in their own neighborhood, will be there- trying to bully us and influence our entire lake.
