🎉 Campaign Update – Thank You, East Halton! 🎉

What an incredible few weeks it has been.

Together, our community came together in an extraordinary way. Parents, grandparents, former pupils, residents and supporters united behind one simple goal – protecting the future of East Halton Primary School and keeping our youngest children learning in the heart of our village.

Today, we are delighted that Early Years (Nursery & Reception) and Key Stage 1 children will remain at East Halton Primary School.

This is wonderful news for our children, our families and our community.

We would like to sincerely thank every single person who signed our petition, shared our campaign, attended meetings, contacted elected representatives, wrote to the Department for Education, completed Ofsted feedback and supported us throughout this journey.

The strength of community feeling has been incredible, and we firmly believe every voice made a difference.

We would also like to thank everyone involved in reaching this positive outcome. We welcome the decision and hope it marks the beginning of a new chapter built on openness, trust and collaboration.

However, our work doesn’t stop here.

Now that we’ve helped secure this outcome, we want to turn that same community spirit into something positive for the future of our school.

Over the coming weeks we hope to work alongside the school, parents, staff, governors, local businesses and residents to help East Halton Primary School thrive. Whether that’s fundraising, attracting sponsorship, improving facilities or creating new opportunities for our children, we want this campaign to become a force for good.

Our village has shown what can be achieved when people come together.

Let’s now stand together not only to protect East Halton Primary School—but to help it become the very best it can be.
