A victorious day for those of us who object to the franchising of our public services. The East Coast Line is now nationalised again, after its disastrous outsourcing by Virgin and National Express; "they both got their numbers wrong!".. With the Government also blasted for the collapse of Carillion today too, Ealing Council, please take a leaf out of the Minister of Transport's (Chris Grayling's) book. Don't risk outsourcing our public libraries again! The 'Save Ealing Libraries from being outsourced' campaign is still very much alive until a firm promise is made later this year to keep our libraries public and librarian jobs safe!!!
