City officials are meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 20, to discuss eliminating entertainment district designations and reducing late-night operating hours for bars, clubs, and restaurants throughout Fort Lauderdale, to as early as 2:00 AM.
The city manager has already proposed a citywide ban on alcohol sales after 2 a.m.
“I’m OK with that,” Commissioner Glassman said.
“Yeah, I agree,” Commissioner Sorensen added.
These changes would directly impact local businesses, workers, and the nightlife culture that helps define Fort Lauderdale. If you care about protecting jobs, small businesses, and the character of our city, we need your voice in the room.
