Disneyland Paris Announces very un-Disney Multi-Year Transformation Plan for Disney Village
In the midst of the 30th Anniversary at Disneyland Paris, the resort-wide transformation continues. Along with the Walt Disney Studios Park expansion plan and the Disneyland Hotel royal transformation, Disney Village will see its own transformation over several years including new dining options and refreshed shopping and entertainment offerings. Sadly the plans that were unvailed show something that looks more like a shopping mall complex or a carbon copy of Disney springs then an extention of the Disney parks. But worst of all is that they are getting rid of our beloved Cafe Mickey to replace it with the non-Disney themed Rosalie. (A brasserie where you can eat classic French quisine, something you can already enjoy at Bistrot Chez Rémy at the Walt Disney studios park making the adition of Rosalie completely unnecessary).
My goal is to have Disney village revamped without completely losing the Disney component on the outside.
Losing cafe Mickey means loosing the only place in the entire complex were you could have lunch surrounded by your favourite Disney characters, loosing Disney village as a whole also means loosing one of the only rainforest cafe locations in europe, loosing the current building for Mcdonalds that made it so unique and loosing the hot air balloon that gives a birds-eye view of the parcks and hotels.
If this petition fails i hope it will at least compell the park executives to open cafe Mickey and the rainforest cafe for one last run during this summer so everyone who wants to can say their goodbyes to these places that are so deeply ingrained in to their hearts.
Thanks to everyone who wants to sign and share this petition!
