Petition updateSAVE DIPPIKILL: Reopen Dippikill & Stop the Sale!SA Alumni Appeal to Dylan Klein, New Chairman of the Board for Dippikill, Inc.

Dylan,

As I hope you as the Dippikill, Inc. Board Chair already know, I have organized an alumni fundraiser for Dippikill through the UAlbany Fund trying to help the reported financial distress situation, but we are very disappointed that SA and the Dippikill Board have not been responding to communications from our Coalition of 19 Past SA Presidents and our broader 1,200 member SA Alumni Society.

There are now over 600 signatures asking for Dippikill to be reopened, now that a sale is apparently off the table.

In the meantime, Dippikill is losing peak ski season revenue and it appears the camp is being intentionally run into the ground by SA to justify having to sell it. If that is not the agenda, then keeping the camp closed into the second week of January during prime Gore Mountain ski season is both reckless and fiscally irresponsible.

Alumni are planning a "Call SA Day" on the first day of classes to express their frustrations.

We are also waiting on a response from the University for all iterations of the Dippikill Corporate Bylaws, which I originally drafted as an incorporator of Dippikill.

We hope to hear back from you regarding the plan to reopen Dippikill so we can spread the news to our members.

A copy of this message is being posted as an update on the petition.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

James Lamb
