To Our Desoto’s Family

We would like to thank you for your overwhelming support over the past several months. With the community rallying behind us and conversations with different levels of government, we received a phone call from the Mayor’s office to confirm that our business  license and patio license has been reinstated. There in fact are no violations for posts and lights on our patio.

We would also like to thank the Honourable Premiere Doug Ford, Mayor Olivia Chow and Heather Legere (assistant to the Mayor), Inspector Gary Borges and Supervisor Chris Calleja from Metro Licensing. Without their intervention and assistance none of this would be possible

Once again, we appreciate every person who signed the petition, advocated for us, visited the restaurant and continued supporting us. We’re happy that we can put this behind us and enjoy the summer season.
