THANK YOU EVERYONE! With many people caring and speaking up with valid reasons why this shouldn’t happen, the Board just did a motion to hold off on these prosed regulations changes!! :) It’s just the beginning of what we need to change for Alaska Estheticians but it’s a positive step in the right direction! I believe even though this has been a dreadful experience it also has brought many potentially positive things to surface with our licensing that will be addressed and improved with “Esthetic Definitions”. With this and if done correctly it will allow us to grow in our industry as Estheticians and be able to keep offering amazing services to our clients.
