The September 25th Davis Lane Park community meeting provided insight into the City's perspective. However, it appears City staff haven't seriously considered court restoration, instead seeking alternatives.

The City survey information about restoring courts shows clear bias, despite the $17 million property value loss without restoration.

For example, the survey states "Overall park compatibility: Poor" for court restoration. This phrasing is questionable for a survey.

Courts have been integral to Davis Lane Park since 1975 and should be restored. The City must thoroughly explore options and contractors to reinstall the courts, prioritizing their restoration as an essential community asset.

The survey information and my responses in blue are in the image associated with this post. I'll provide more feedback and a link once I can access the full survey. SpeakUp Arvada has been incompatible with Chrome, Firefox, and Safari browsers so far.

All the best!

Alan

P.S. I've requested the PowerPoint shown at the meeting so that I can provide text from it to you along with commentary.
