Today I reach out to you all with a heavy heart. On May 17th, the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, I received devastating news from the Federal Court. This decision has taken the smile off my face and instilled fear in my heart at the thought of returning to a country where my life is in constant danger.
I have always valued respect and integration, striving to be a good citizen here in Canada. Unfortunately, my life in Mexico is fraught with insecurity and threats due to my sexual orientation. Living with this constant threat is something no one should have to endure.
The court denied my application for a stay of removal, exacerbating my fears of returning to a perilous situation.
Moreover, the Federal Court did not consider the fact that I was a victim of a ghost consultant—an unlicensed and illegal representative in Canada. This exploitation not only jeopardized my case but also highlighted a failure in protecting my rights. Instead, the court prioritized the integrity of the system over my right to be protected and heard, dismissing the grave impact this fraudulent consultant had on my life and case.
The court also stated that there was not enough evidence to show that sending me back to Mexico could cause any irreparable harm unless the stay is granted. They argued that deporting me would only separate me from my work and familiar faces and places, leading to enforced separation and heartbreak. However, this overlooks the serious threats to my safety and well-being that I face in Mexico due to my sexual orientation

I have always been committed to helping others, including working with disabled individuals and contributing positively to my community. I believe that together we can make a difference and ensure that justice and humanity prevail.
I am seeking your support in this crucial fight for my safety and well-being. Not only do I want to stay in Canada to live without fear, but I also want to continue contributing to this society that I have come to consider my home. I am asking for your prayers and thoughts, and most importantly, your financial support to help me continue this legal process with my lawyer.
Is not a requirement, but is highly appreciated if you can still donate to help me pay the lawyer fees and expenses for this case. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be immensely valuable to me and will help me continue this battle for my life and dignity.
