Not the news we wanted but we are committed to keep fighting !

For over 130 years  the  community of Combe Down village in Bath have had the privilege of working an allotment plot at the local allotment site known as Church Road Allotments.

The local council, who rent the site for the allotments, has been served an eviction notice by the land owner and in turn they have served notice to the current plot holders, asking them to leave their plots at the end of October 2025.

Members of the community have set up a campaign to Save Combe Down Allotments and created a Friends of Combe Down Allotments group. This group has gone on to raise awareness, create a petition and have the land designated as an Asset of Community Value.
