To clear up any confusion: this petition has been updated to focus on the core issue — the City of Winter Park’s request to rename “Christmas on Park” to “Holidays on Park.”

Here's what we know:

• The City is contributing $90,000 in taxpayer money toward this year's holiday decor. As taxpayers, we should have a voice in what the event is called. 
• Park Avenue District Board President Alan Chambers has confirmed the board will comply by changing the event and website name. 
• Just yesterday, the Park Avenue District’s Executive Director and three Board Members stepped down.
