This campaign aims to mobilise supporters far and wide, leveraging the power of this amazing community to ensure the team's future. With over 2500 signatures on our petition, if each supporter contributed just $120, we would easily meet our goal. By spreading the word to 10,000 individuals, each contributing only $30, or to 60,000 people with just $5 from each, we can achieve our target. We're emphasizing that every contribution, no matter how small, counts towards securing Canberra United's place in the A-League. For those unable to donate financially, we urge them to share our cause extensively to maximize our reach. We can confirm we are in productive discussions with Capital Football and know the amount needed to secure the 2024/25 season for our team is $300,000.
All donations will go directly to supporting Canberra United and elite women’s football – this means that your donation will go to cover coaching and support staff, training facilities, uniforms, performance support, accommodation, meals and nutrition, transport, and other wraparound support.
If we are not successful in getting Canberra United to the 24/25 season, any funds raised will be redirected to support elite women's football in Canberra, safeguarded by the establishment of a not-for-profit entity to ensure transparency and accountability.
