Dear Supporters,
Thank you — we’ve now reached 472 signatures. Every one is a voice saying "Canucks Unlimited" matters as the last living memorial to RCAF 435/436 Squadrons.
Many of you have emailed the museum (museum@warplane.com) with your memories and support. A lot have told me they got no reply at all when mentioning this plane. The silence is consistent — it feels like the topic is being avoided.
C-GDAK has been a part of Hamilton for 45 years — airshows, flypasts, veteran ceremonies. To my family and other Burma Star families, she's not just an aircraft; she's where we go to remember, to find closure. Losing her would be like losing a monument to our loved ones.
Please keep sharing the petition and, if you feel comfortable, send one more polite email to the museum sharing why she should stay (flying or static). Civil voices are powerful, even if they aren't answered.
Together we're reminding them: she is the last living memorial to those squadrons. She belongs here.
With endless gratitude, Olivia ❤️
