The following is an update from JeffCo Public Schools. The next few days will challenge reserves, it will form the web that is about to unfold. For better or worse schools will close, we cannot know the future right now but whatever the future we will all be in this together. Lifelines and avenues of support for children are at risk. We need to hold JeffCo BOE to provide resources to all and any schools that will be affected, stay involved. Stay in the conversation, advocate for your children, other people's children and for your community. Other communities and schools will no doubt also be affected, we'll all need extra patience no matter which way the hammer falls.

"August 23, 2022 Dear Jeffco Community, As many of you are aware, this Thursday evening, the Board of Education (BoE) will meet at 5 p.m. to hear our staff recommendation for school closures and consolidations as part of the Regional Opportunities for Thriving Schools initiative.
