it has been confirmed that the movement to save this vitally important heritage building was not successful.  The owners of the property are not interested in retaining this church and will not be exploring any possible design modificatons that could incorporate it into the project, contrary to their early announcements.  This 1912 community church, in it's original condition and as a direct link to the birth of the city, will be demolished.
