Board Meeting took place this morning Monday, September 21st at 7:00a.m. at 101 Ray Sanderson Drive. I spoke stating that I started the petition to one hopeful help notify the community of this upcoming extended project, get input how this will effect the community directly, and request other solutions are possible to reduce the amount of time of the shut down.
Two Madison City Council members were present and there was a mention of an offer to the board to offer a building that would allow a town hall style event that Madison Utilities could use to allow a two-way engagement forum regarding this extended project that will effect so many in the community.

We continue to hope that Madison Utilities will take in consideration the impact this will have on the community and will chose to take community input on additional options and accept the offer for the town hall forum regarding this project.
