We, the undersigned, call on community leaders, cultural organizations, and local government officials to take immediate action to preserve and protect the Black American History Museum. This institution is a vital space that celebrates African American heritage, honors the struggles and achievements of generations, and educates future leaders about our shared history.

Why This Matters:
The Black American History Museum is more than a building—it’s a living archive of culture, resilience, and progress. Its exhibits tell stories that have shaped our nation’s identity. Losing this museum would mean erasing an essential part of America’s collective memory.

Preserving the museum ensures that children and future generations have access to a truthful and empowering account of history. It strengthens community pride, encourages dialogue, and promotes cultural understanding.

What We’re Asking For:

Immediate funding or grant support to sustain museum operations.
Community partnerships to expand educational programs and exhibits.
Public recognition of the museum’s historical and cultural significance.
By signing this petition, you stand with us in protecting a cornerstone of American history and ensuring that Black stories continue to be told with dignity and respect.

Together, we can save the Black American History Museum.
