At a time when greyhound racing in Manchester is severely under threat, the historic Belle Vue stadium has featured on ITV's Coronation Street.

The episode entitled 'Battleaxes' featured Corrie character Rita Sullivan (played by Barbara Knox) reminiscing about regularly visiting Belle Vue.

We hope that the story boosts the profile of our campaign to #SaveBelleVue - the home of UK greyhound racing.
