The position with Belle Vue Stadium is not just about greyhound racing, it's about people's livelihoods.

In addition to the greyhound racing and all of the jobs that depend upon it, from trainers to the stadium staff, there are many other viable businesses at Kirkmanshulme Lane, each with employees who rely upon the stadium for their wages and income.

Many of whom have protested to show the Council that this is not a Brownfield site as it was claimed by the developers in their planning application. Instead it is home to people's livelihoods.
