The news coming from Birmingham yesterday was horrendous for all Oval racing fans.

It should though focus all of our minds about the fragile future our sport has, especially in the face of opposition from many quarters.

After the recent decision by Manchester Council to approve the demolition of Belle Vue for housing, yes we were deflated but we have not thrown in the towel.

We are currently urgently seeking a meeting with Mayor of Manchester Andy Burnham.

Whilst we continue those talks, can we encourage EVERY race fan to sign the petition to Save Belle Vue if you haven't already.
