After Councillor David Ellison sadly lost his seat on Manchester City Council, a new Chair has been sought for the Council's Planning and Highways Committee.

Long standing and respected Councillor, Basil Curley, has been confirmed as the new Chair.

It follows that in place of Councillor Ellison, Councillor Curley will now be receiving regular updates from our petition along with the previously named recipients Ms Jeni Regan, Case Officer in the Planning Department, and Manchester's elected Mayor Andy Burnham.
