Please go like and share the Facebook page for Beau here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Please-Help-Beau/765019283535997 Here is an update from legal on the current situation: My name is Brian Boyd. I am one of the attorneys that has taken on this case pro bono. That means I am not being paid. I haven't seen a dime for this case. What I have done is spend my time, energies and patience calling state senators, state representatives, United States Senators and United States Congressmen and women. I have filed a notice of appeal and an appeal to the Circuit Court of Dyer County. I have spoken to Danny numerous times and I have not spoken to the media at all. This case is about saving Beau, a dog. Irrespective of how you feel about his living conditions or what you think you know, I have yet to see a single knowledgeable comment about the facts of the case. I have seen vitriol and self righteousness. I have seen absolute lies posted by certain rescues. The adage of "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" would do everyone some good. Danny hasn't received a penny from the funds raised. There is no scam here. Any funds will be used to pay filing fees (because the legal system isn't free even if the lawyers are), the humane society has boarding fees ( and the judge refused to allow the dog to be removed to another no kill shelter that would not charge for Beau's upkeep) and court costs (the courts actually charge the litigants for court time-shocking, I know). As for those that seek to make hay of Danny's past- shame on you. However, taking pot shots at those that can't defend themselves does make you a holier than thou saint. Go with God. As for those that say Danny made this choice to euthanize Beau-check the record. Danny couldn't afford the vicious dog insurance and fees associated with the citation. The Court then determined that since he couldn't pay, the dog would be euthanized. Either support Beau or don't, but don't make this something it's not.
