THANK YOU to all the downtown residents who attended today's City Commission meeting! A special "Thank You" to the Brickell Key residents who joined forces with the DNA in our fight to Save Bayfront Park from private, mega events.

We made significant progress today, with three of the five commissioners expressing opposition to Ultra or reservations about the current contract, and with DNA leadership being invited to discuss the contract with the City Attorney and District 3 Commissioner.

Ultra, maybe upon learning that they don't have the votes needed to approve their contract, asked for a last-minute deferment of the vote to the September 27 Commission meeting. 

Thank you for all your help and advocacy! While our fight is not over today as we were hoping for, we are at the final stretch. Please stay tuned for updates following the upcoming discussions.
