The following is a public letter to Bayfront Park's Chair, Commissioner Joe Carollo: Dear Commissioner Carollo, Thank you for the leadership and the responsible decision making that you have demonstrated while dealing with the Rolling Loud issue. The downtown community is grateful for the truncating of the constant stream of park events this spring, which will hopefully allow Bayfront Park to re-open for public enjoyment by early May. We recognize the complexity of the issue at hand, and the difficulty of balancing its multiple aspects. The downtown community appreciates your careful consideration of the community’s plight, and will not forget what you have done for us this week. Finally, I’d like to share with you that the DNA leadership and representatives from the communities bordering Bayfront Park will meet tomorrow (Friday) with Ultra Music Festival’s executives to discuss the necessary arrangements affecting the community for the upcoming UMF in March.
