In breaking news this week, the City of Greater Geelong council have announced that Balyang Par 3 Golf Course will be extending opening hours to 7:30PM on Friday and Saturday evenings during daylight savings.  

The extended hours will give the community greater opportunity to enjoy a round of golf after school or work.  The extended opening hours will begin from Friday 13th December and continue each and every Friday and Saturday until the end of daylight savings in April 2025.

While this is great news, the future of Balyang Par 3 is still uncertain. At this stage, we are still awaiting a date to meet with the council review panel that will decide the future of Balyang Par 3.  The petition signatures, petition comments and Facebook comments will all be presented to the panel as compelling reasons to save Balyang Par 3.
