Last Thursday, December 22, 2022, "Save the Elena Gallegos" filed a lawsuit against the City of Albuquerque to uphold the Deed which protects the Elena Gallegos Open Space from development. So that our children and our grandchildren and our great-grandchildren may inherit a world that still has wilderness!

We marked the occasion with a small rally outside the courthouse, and were grateful to receive coverage from both KRQE 13 and KOB 4 local news stations.
