Sadly it seems Harolds Park Farm stables (as was) couldn't be saved. With final liveries leaving and stables and equipment etc being dismantled, it's come to a very sad ending.
We thank everyone who signed the petition (21,000) to try to save HPF. Hopefully that won't go to waste in that campaigns to stop the erosion of Equestrian facilities will continue.
The only miracle that can happen now for HPF is that someone really really rich buys it when landlords put up for sale (if and when they do) and returns it to a livery and event yard.
It is with a sad and heavy heart that it's suspected that in a few yrs time that HPF may become part of the local plan (build more houses). (All supposition).

If however anyone can think of any way we can try to preserve and save HPF or other Equestrian venues then we much appreciate your input.

I fear that in the coming years that Equestrian facilities in this area are going to be fighting a huge battle to stay open and that they may be forced out by building greed.

As Equestrians and Equestrian supporters we all may be called on to help in that fight and battle. I hope that all that supported this campaign will support the fight to keep Equestrianism available for all.

Again thank you all for your support.
