After investing tens of thousands of dollars to successfully challenge the city’s ill-conceived redesign, the Association now faces a renewed legal battle, placing a further financial strain on the community DOT is purporting to try to help. Despite the court’s clear order, the DOT is seeking to bypass the ruling and renew the project by introducing a “revised” plan that expands the proposed route from Northern Blvd to 20th Avenue—a move that is an aggressive attempt to ignore judicial oversight.
