The Montreal SPCA killed Hakan and said killing is the best thing for someone with mental health issues.  As a person on the autism spectrum who had suicidal ideation in the past, I find the Montreal Spca’s comments offensive and abhorrent.  He had a placement with Saw A Need Dog Rescue Training & Psychology Centre and there was even a crowd source funding to send Hakan to Saw A Need Dog!  Stop calling Hakan’s death euthanasia.  Hakan didn’t need to die.  He needed to live!  Here is a link to the place that wanted to take him.  It is an Canadian run and founded business.  https://www.facebook.com/idrtpc?
