August Derleth was a famous American author and anthologist born and raised in the Sauk Prairie area.  This park was named in honor of him.  It would be nice to see this piece of history stay prevelent in our community.  History is something that connects us  all...past, present, and future.  Keeping history alive and prevelent keeps that connection.  By signing this petition you are supporting keeping the name August Derleth Park.
