Hello all, just wanted to say a big thank you for your help getting us above 500 supporters!

The proposed $150/year tax would add $1,500 in new costs for EV owners over the next ten years. This is at the same time British Columbia and Nova Scotia are offering purchase incentives of up to $3,000, the Yukon and PEI are offering up to $5,000 and Quebec is offering up to $8,000. With only 403 fully electric vehicles registered so far in Saskatchewan, now is not the time for our province to introduce first-in-Canada taxes and risk discouraging new EV adoption.
