In the 10 days SARS allowed for comments on the proposed scrapping of school fees as a qualifying tax credit disability expense we have collected just short of 12 000 signatures opposing the changes. Signatories include parents of children with disabilities from right across the social spectrum, therapists, special needs teachers, concerned taxpayers and the like.
