With the recent events going on at the University, including the cutting of significant sports teams, our group is continuing to ask everyone's support in signing our new petition to PUT THE SIOUX NAME BACK AT THE UNIVERSITY FOREVER! To arm ourselves with the truth about what happened to the name is important. It is time to stop blaming the NCAA and the Sioux people but to look directly at the UND administration and State Board of Higher Ed. We deserve answers. The name was put in place for educational purposes for future generations. Let's right this wrong! Imagine what we could do with the revenue from the Fighting Sioux name--educational opportunities, scholarships, funding our athletic programs, and academic programs. Our name meant more than just a name, it was honor, tradition, excellence and symbolized a legend of the best alumni and fans in the country. Please join us in our fight!
