Hi all,

It’s Megan here. I wanted to thank you all, I never actually believed this petition would have such a positive response. However, I wanted to make it clear that this petition is not about children going without food in any way, shape or form, which is what many of the comments suggest. This petition is about giving kids in poverty the best educational opportunities to result in a better quality of life, and inspire them to aspire higher! This means we are calling for the Government to stop school cuts to the schools- especially ones with a high level of poverty. This schools have more money to organise workshops, support, trips etc to allow children to be the best they can be.

We are almost at 200 signatures and I know we can reach that target! Please keep signing and keep sharing- if we stick together they will have to listen.
