Anwar Holmes was sentenced to 80 years in prison for "allegedly " possessing 16 grams of cocaine after a road rage incident with a caucasian women in Gilmer, TX. The Family and community feels this sentence and trial was driven by racial prejudices. The Family is petitioning for a new trial with a change of venue or an overturn ruling.
