Thank you for your support of the Quiet Nights Initiative. Now that 2020 has started, we're going to call to change airplane routes at night over the Bay. We are 3 signatures away from 200, with much work to do!

Here's how you can help:

1. Share the petition with friends who live in Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Mountain View and Sunnyvale. This is a regional solution and we need broad support!
2. Mark your calendar to attend the SCSC Roundtable Meetings on January 22nd and February 26th. When the petition has enough support we'll present it there.

The petition was edited to make a small change. Previously we requested a "Required Navigation Procedure (RNP)." A very specific solution that may limit solving the problem. Now it demands "the FAA to propose 2 or more alternatives for nighttime SFO Arrivals, weather conditions permitting, that reduce measurable ground noise by routing over the San Francisco Bay."
