We want to cancel School on Friday, December 8, for Santa School District Schools because of the air quality due to the Thomas Fire and other existing fires. Carpinteria Schools are closed for the same reasons and we are experiencing similar things. For most people when you walk outside, your eyes start to water and burn because of the thick smoke the Thomas Fire has caused.
