Cafeterias across the nation will begin to serve on average 30.5 million lunches every single day. A massive amount of this food will end up in the trash. Majority of students receiving school meals come from low-income families and rely on school foods for as much as half of their daily energy intake. Schools across the nation waste an estimated $1.2 billion of food each year.  We would like to help parents that need extra help with providing dinner at home because any parent knows the struggle of getting kids to eat healthier food and overall provide the food. Not only will schools provide breakfast, nutrition and lunch with an option of getting dinner. Many parents with stress can benefit from this help and it allows students to gain more intake of food. Also a lot of high school students feel responsible to help with bills. Therefore, students decide to drop out to help with extra money and food.
