I am extremely pleased to inform you all that the OLDBURY WILDLIFE CORRIDOR has been SAVED by a unanimous committee decision tonight! Canmoor / Asda (representative) virtually ran out the door as the verdict was declared. I extend my gratitude to the 22,000 people that supported the online petition and the residents of Titford Road. In addition, I would like to thank the BBC, ITV and the numerous local reporters that have supported and increased exposure to the campaign. Moreover, I would like to say a massive thank you to ALISON BISHOP and her team at SANDWELL COUNCIL for their continued support and, particularly, for their recommendation to reject this proposal. The rich and vibrant eco system of the Wildlife Corridor can sleep safe tonight, completely unaware of the fight we have had to save their habitat.
