public meeting at city hall

Yesterday a small group of San Diego Buskers went to city council and spoke about buskers rights in an attempt to get them to consider amending the city municipal codes. Though it seemed like they were interested in what we had to say and listened, there was no response of a future meeting or of any action to be taken. We need to show them that we are serious and that our voices need to be heard... We are at least making city council, and people aware of what is happening in our city. Several forms of media showed up and did stories.. ABC 10 news San Diego ran stories about us all day.. CW 6 San Diego also ran a story about busking, we even had exposure through NPR, KBPS, and Anti-Media. Thank you everyone for your continued support, we still have lots of work to do, but there is a light shining on the other end of the tunnel.
