I urge everyone to click on the link above and join like the Apple Valley networking page dedicated to the dogs and cats at our southern CA animal shelter which horrifically kills and spread disease. The city of Apple Valley continues to reach out to Facebook in an effort to silence animal advocates who are shedding light on the dire situation in our facility and getting Facebook to delete the community networking pages.

Currently, we are witnessing continuous outbreaks of distemper, parvovirus, and canine pneumonia—a situation that cannot be overlooked! We have the power to make a difference by amplifying the voices of those advocating for the lives of these beloved suffering pets.

Sadly, the Apple Valley city government has been labeled one of the worst in California, and even in the country. SB County grants over 1 million dollars a year to care for these dogs and cats however they use over $1 million towards city salaries while budgeting less than $6,000 per year for food for thousands of dogs and cats. Their budget for medical care is equally appalling, with less than $10,000 set aside for the health of these animals. Instead of prioritizing the care of our shelter pets with the money granite by the county, they are using the $1.1 million provided by San Bernardino County for excessive salaries and unnecessary programs that have nothing to do with the care of our animals.
