Following are notes from kennel card:
01/04/25 09:14 Dog was QAR (QUIET, ALERT, RESPONSIVE), resting in kennel. Urine on blanket. Dog appears to have ate some canned food over night. Nervous. With coaxing, the dog walked cautiously on all four legs but intermittently bore weight on the LRL.  Dog allowed physical examination and manipulation of x4 legs without exhibiting pain. Dog needs full DVM evaluation with radiographs. No obvious open wounds. Dime sized abrasion on proximal tarsus. The dog eventually warmed up, wagging its tail and seeking attention. Admin 0.2mL Ampicillin (200mg/ml) SQ & Rimadyl 0.55cc (50mg/ml) SQ. Ate canned food well when placed back in kennel. Rx: Rimadyl 75mg (1/2 tablet) po SID x10 days per protocol. Due to the current DVM availability and the backlog of injured animals requiring extensive veterinary care, an outcome for this dog is needed as soon as possible. TRB MEDICAL DEADLINE 1/5/25 AT 4PM.
