Dear Friends,

July has been a grueling month for our efforts to fight the nicest dogs being killed for space at the Apple Valley animal shelter.  

Each day, we are confronted with euthanasia lists of upward of 16 dogs, needing an exit plan, transport and a place to go the same day. Stress levels have been at all time highs, making us bend every which way to squeeze a few more animals into our program. Yet more time and space are great luxuries for euthanasia dogs that "NEED A COMMITMENT NOW OR WILL BE PUT TO SLEEP", as we are told every day by kill shelters.

We want to keep saying YES to their lives mattering, even when the space is sparse, funding not in hand, and more time translates in housing costs that our adoption fees just cannot cover. This is why we turn to you, our generous and hope-inspiring community, to ask you to please help us keep saying YES to these lives that matter and are worth making a financial investment in and fighting for.

We know that, by being saved from euthanazia and given more time to find their second chance, each of these animals will find a person that will love them...
