30 DOGS IN 2 Days (I want to throw up)
YESTERDAY all 18 were killed. One was adopted, but was so SICK w/ Distemper, he had to be euthanized shortly after leaving the shelter.
AVAS is shameful! Please let The First District SBC Board Supervisor Paul Cook know your thoughts on these killings. Apple Valley is his DISTRICT. Contact (760) 995-8100 Supervisor.Cook@bos.sbcounty.gov
1/5 EUTH LIST AGAIN no notice! Appel Valley dogs need help!The most infuriating part is that these dogs were just made available for adoption 1-2 days ago! Links are down, so adopters can no longer submit an adoption application - these dogs can now only be saved by rescue organizations. When the links go down, it doesn't mean the dog has been euthanized, it means rescues have a small window of time to submit pull requests to save the dogs. As always, PM if you can foster or transport.
