Red Status
Animals marked status red are in imminent need for rescue/adoption due to the length of time in the shelter and/or behavioral or medical issues. These animals need a rescue/adoption commitment immediately. Contact the rescue coordinator during business hours immediately by email at rescue@cityofhesperia.us or by phone at 760-947-1700 to facilitate pickup if you are interested in a red tagged animal.
Yellow Status
Animals marked status yellow are in moderate need for rescue/adoption due to the length of time in the shelter. These animals need a rescue/adoption commitment soon. Contact the rescue coordinator during business hours by email at rescue@cityofhesperia.us or by phone at 760-947-1700 to facilitate pickup. Those in the yellow category may become red.
