Update: April 22: MEOW...WOOF...CHIRP...SNORT...CLUCK....and whatever noise rabbits and fish make!

You have all expressed interest in being a part of a new Toastmasters club bringing together people interested in any/all of the following: animals and pets - care and feeding of, rescue of, fun anecdotes and stories about, etc.   It is intended that most speeches given in the club would have some basis in one or more of these topics. Examples could be:

- Ways to talk about and interest people in animal rescue.

- How to talk to government officials and bodies re: pet legislation

- Benefits of having and caring for 'pets'

- How to train pets

- Pet health and feeding issues

- Fun stories about pets,

- Stories about cats, dogs, parrots, goldfish, lizards, owls, zoos, training, and more!

Here is what needs to happen to bring this club to reality:

- A brief Zoom meeting of the 8 or 9 people so far interested, as soon as possible. (see below)

- A search for more potential members, specifically, people who are NOT current Toastmasters. (To Charter we need at least 17 NON-Toastmasters. We can have as many current Toastmasters beyond that as possible. 

- Once we have about 13 or 14 people, we would start regular meetings, as if we were a club, while we continue to enroll additional members.

- This will be created as an on-line club, meeting on Zoom, so members can be from anywhere! 

If you are interested, please join this brief (15 minute) initial organizational Zoom meeting Sunday, April 25, at 6pm Pacific Time.  Zoom number is 933-392-5329.  The purpose is to ascertain your commitment, and to brainstorm how we can get the needed number of members to charter the club.
