Our local Big Bear elected officials are okay with our local Big Bear / Devore Animal Control staff as they plan to kill a local 80 year old resident's dog for getting in a fight with his neighbor dog. Despite the fact the neighbor dog lived and is just fine, local officials are laughing at Pepe's plea to get his dog back alive. Even though Pepe can't read or write, he is trying everything he can. He has visited his dog 4 days a week for the last 5 months. He had to raise $6,000 on social media just to cover his attorney bill. But the attorney has only been able to get one extension with no promise that Sheba will ever return home. Even if Pepe wins, the dog will likely never be returned to him as Big Bear / Devore Animal Control staff still desire to kill Pepe's dog or to banish Sheba to another county in Sheba's final years of her life. What kind of sick, perverted local officials and animal control staff have we elected? Perverted is what it is. Sickos for not picking up the phone and putting an end to this gross misuse of power. Animal Control hasn't done a behavioral test on Sheba. Nothing. They just go by the neighbor's report that Pepe's dog is a bad dog. Animal Control didn't even do genetic testing to see if the dog that attacked Pepe's neighbor was in fact Sheba. It could have been a coyote.

Please call your Senators, the MEDIA, the Governor, and anyone who will listen. What kind of people can listen to Pepe's pleas and keep his dog locked up? What kind of city officials would turn a blind eye when a local resident who can't read or write raised over $6000 to hire an attorney over social media and won't take a moment to make a phone call. What kind of system kills a dog because it gets in a dog fight? It's sick, sick people and they need not be re-elected or be forced to resign.

Pepe fulfilled all the required improvements in his back yard so he could get his dog back but they still won't budge. It's like they are just playing or toying with him. Please call and ask to speak to Greg Beck, Kelly Papp, and anyone who will listen at Animal Control. It's Greg and Kelly who want to see Sheba dead. Let them know how sick you think they are for torturing this 80 year old man. Tell them to give Pepe his dog back. If you don't want to do that, call any local city or county official who will get Pepe's dog back. Tell them that if you want your vote, get Pepe's dog back. Please share this petition as it will help us hold accountable the sickos making our local resident BEG to get his best friend of the last 10 years back.

He needs to see how sick and twisted our local government official's are who hire and fire our San Bernardino Animal Control staff. They aren't protecting us. They are out of control animal abusers who must be fired or asked to resign.
