I’m a home owner in both Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City. I was told my email was forwarded to you by one of the Council members about our No Kill movement here in Big Bear. Recently, The Grizzly did an online poll to see what public opinion was about our local Kill Shelter. Have you seen the results? Here is the poll (http://www.bigbeargrizzly.net/…/poll_4f0effa8-21a8-11e8-b0b…). I shared with these voters that my previous email was forwarded to you by the City Council. I told them I’d let them know when you responded. It’s been more than one week since I was told the email was forwarded to you. I’ll update them with the news of your response. Do you know if and when you are planning to respond? Our group plans to begin attending City Council meetings regarding our concerns regarding the management of our local facility. We are organized, intentional, and broadcasting our efforts in a very public format. We realize you’ll be renegotiating our contract with the County and we want to have “serious” input on your negotiations. Bottomline for us, we want our city and surrounding areas to be NO KILL.
