The future of St Edward's RC Church in Rusholme, Manchester, is at risk. We need your help to save it.

Why should the future of St Edward's Church be secured?

St Edward's Church is essential to the lives of its parishioners as well as the wider, multicultural community in Rusholme and beyond. At present, St Edward's Church is home to a thriving, vibrant and diverse congregation. The parishioners travel from all over Greater Manchester to attend. It is vital that St Edward's Church continues as a fully functioning Catholic Church which can provide the complete pastoral and sacramental care of its parishioners.

Rusholme is an area of high social deprivation and it is paramount that the Catholic Church retains its important presence in the community. St Edward's Church must carry on developing its relationships with other Christian communities and those of other religions.
St Edward's Church was established in 1861, and is of significant historical, religious, cultural and social value.  It has been a central part of the community for over 150 years, and we hope and pray that it will continue to serve in this key role.
